Santa's On Strike - Milepost 1 (Yr 1 and Y2) Christmas Production

11 December 2015

The students of Milepost 1 at An Phu Primary campus staged a wonderful performance of Santa’s On Strike.

It was Christmas Eve and Santa was in a mood! Recently he’d seen too many children making bad choices and he thought that they didn’t deserve presents anymore. So, you guessed it, he went on strike! Mrs Santa and the elves showed him snapshots of life at BIS and the good children there and much to everyone’s relief Santa realised that Christmas is still a time of giving, caring and sharing.

The students looked wonderful in their festive costumes as they sang and danced on the stage and put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Our Year 2 students with speaking roles particularly impressed us with their fabulous acting and in remembering their lines. The BIS community of students, teachers and parents, along with our Community Partners, thoroughly enjoyed the children’s impressive performance and all left with smiles on their faces.

Well done to each and every one of the children involved and thank you to our music teachers, Ms Beth and Ms Fran for helping with the music and singing.
