Seoul: Model United Nations 2015

04 December 2015

On 24th November 2015, 21 BIS students embarked on an amazing journey...

...2000 miles across several countries and a couple of small seas to participate in the thoughtful, engaging and fruitful SEOMUN XVIII conference. The beautiful and rather cold country of Korea was like a winter wonderland, we were all amazed with the hospitality and splendour that it offered to us, from the amazing delicacies of Korean barbeque and the world renowned kimchi, to the lovely people and culture… not forgetting the rather surprising snow!

The conference itself was thought-provoking and sophisticated. For three days, we immersed ourselves in our issues and countries. We delved deep into the world of United Nations, and came out changed: we made new friends and gained deeper perspectives onto the multifaceted issues that were at hand.

Overall, it was a significant and wonderful event, and we hope to participate in more amazing conferences. Be bold, and seize the moment; only then shall we grow and flourish.
