The TXstravaganza! Music Summer Concert

12 June 2015

On Wednesday 10th June, after weeks of rehearsing and preparation, TX hosted its annual Summer concert – the TXstravaganza! This wonderful concert featured fabulous performances by Milepost 1 Choir, String Group, TX Orchestra, Brass Group, Chamber Choir, Milepost 2 & 3 Choir and solo performances by Yu Gyeong Kang (6X) on the cello and Andrew Vu (5T) on the saxophone. The concert was concluded with an arrangement of The Carpenters famous song ‘Sing’, performed by the orchestra and both choirs together.

Thank you very much to all the teachers who helped organise this concert, in particular Mr Mike, Ms Heather, Ms Alice and Ms Julia. Thank you also to Ms Michelle for taking fantastic photos of the event.

I was very proud of the children who performed amazingly. This was my final music concert at TX, and it will be one I definitely remember for a long time.

Mr Robbie MacKinnon, TX Music Leader
