Tu Xuong Milepost 1 Speech Contest

16 June 2015

Last week, all children in Milepost One worked extremely hard to prepare their speeches for our second annual speech contest. The teachers were left with the hard job of choosing two children from each tribe to deliver their speech in the final.

On Monday, the finalists delivered fabulous speeches about their favourite thing. It was a very difficult choice but after deliberation the judges managed to come to a decision. Third place went to Bella with her interesting and informative speech all about octopuses. Second place went to Kyu Won with his speech all about his favourite country Korea. The winner of the competition went to Sy Anh with his articulate speech all about his favourite 8 legged friends – Spiders!

Well done to all our finalists: Dolly, Shao Chen, Tupo, Kathy and Tom.

Ms Estelle Burder, Milepost 1 Leader
