ABC Vs BIS U19 Boys Football

25 January 2016

The U19 Boys got off to a winning start to the season with an away match at ABC International School.

We started with a relatively inexperienced team. Two players, Sid and Nick, made their football debut and Sujash stepped in as goalkeeper for the first time. The team also welcomed back Felix, who marshalled the defence well throughout the game. ABC used the small pitch to their advantage in the opening stages, maintaining a fast pace and racing into a 3-0 lead after 10 mins.

However, we soon settled into our confident passing game and BIS football started to do the talking, we got two goals back before half time through Josh.

We continued to be dominant in the second half, with Josh scoring three more excellent goals. JK and Raul were also able to get on the score board, to put the game beyond any doubt. We walked away from the first game of the season with a healthy 3-7 victory.
