U13 Boys Football v TAS (A)

05 October 2016

The U13 Boys took the long journey around Thao Dien to The American School for their first official fixture of the season.  In tricky conditions, the boys had little time to warm-up before they were straight into action against the imposing U14 team from The American School.

In early parts of the match, both goalkeepers Daniel Juelsbak and Khoa Tran were supreme, beating out the chances TAS had on goal, and at times, keeping BIS in the game.

Fluid passing football throughout the game, particularly from Hyun Woo Park, Joseph Kim and Jung Min Oh sliced through the opposition creating lots of chances for BIS against their strong opponents.  The tireless running of Andy Kim, latching on to precise through balls, eventually paid off with the composed finishing from the striker netting him a hat trick.

Joseph Kim also got his name on the score sheet after relentless pressure, BIS won the ball back in their opponents half allowing the young midfielder to slot home confidently from close range.  Every single player from the BIS team played relentlessly, not allowing their heads to drop as they conceded goals, and letting their football do the talking as they came up against a physical team from TAS.

BIS built more and more confidence throughout the game and finished the match victorious, with the 4-2 score line justifying the perseverance and patience the team showcased.  A great start to the season for the U13 Boys.
