Mannequin Challenge

16 November 2016

It is not often that a viral phenomenon comes along that links directly to the Drama Curriculum. Then, the mannequin challenge appeared.

A challenge that requires participants to pose like mannequins in order to tell some sort of story. This was too good an opportunity to miss so on Monday we held a whole school challenge. Students were given a minutes warning and then with the countdown of "3,2,1, mannequin" the whole school became still.

As we filmed the mannequins the concentration, creativity and focus that we see in our Drama lessons was suddenly evident across a whole school body and was very impressive.

Congratulations to everyone involved – an awesome achievement! As it stands the video, on the BIS HCMC Facebook page, has been watched 13,000 times – if you haven’t seen it yet, get watching.
