This year promises to be no different with over 20 countries confirmed as having stalls to represent their countries. If you have not confirmed whether or not you will be having a stall for your country, please contact Lily, the Global Café co coordinator as soon as possible via email at firstname.lastname@example.org">email@example.com
One of the other highlights of the week is the Parades of Nations where the children come dressed in the costume or colours of their own native country and march under their native flag. If your child is registered under a passport here at BIS but has dual nationality and will be marching under the other flag, please do let us know so we can ensure that we have the flags of all the countries represented. It is expected that the children march under the flag of their own country and not pick one at random.
Finally, at the parades, we also have countries that perform dances. This year I already have 3 countries signed up. Depending on how many countries that want to dance, we will either have the groups perform at both parades or split them into two groups. Once I have final numbers I will confirm the arrangements with all the group dancing. If you have a group of performers, please do let me know as soon as possible. The final deadline for confirmation of the dancing/performing is Monday November 21st. Please email me firstname.lastname@example.org">email@example.com to confirm your place.
We look forward to another successful International Week here at An Phu Primary.
