U13 Football Match Report 24/02/16

29 February 2016

American International School 2 - 16 BIS U13 FOBISA team

On the 24th of february 2016 we played against AMIS away.

Kick off was at 4.30 and BIS started with the ball. BIS were on the attack from the kick off and approximately 3 minutes into the game Campbell took a shot that slipped through the arms of the AMIS goalkeeper to make it 1-0.

Moments late BIS broke through the defence and Trong took a great shot from a hard angle making it 2-0. Full of confidence, BIS were back on the attack and a great play resulted in Campbell getting the ball and finishing into the bottom corner. We were 3-0 up in just 10 minutes.

BIS continued to be relentless with Campbell striking the crossbar from 11 yards out, and after a period of sustained pressure Trong scored again to make it 4-0.

Shion, Jack, Kye and Khanh held strong in defence helping to maintain the attack and building excellent team chemistry. The defence was so strong that Long was able to take his chance and run through the middle scoring the 5th goal just before halftime. At the break the score was 5-0 to BIS.

BIS started strong in the second half and were awarded a freekick a few metres outside the box. Raafay took it and he struck the goalie which caused a deflection making it 6-0. Soon after that goal, AMIS managed to penetrate a solid BIS defence making it 6-1.However, the rally was short lived as Long once again broke through the centre backs and scored in the bottom corner making the score 7-1.

Later in the second half, AMIS scored their second goal, but BIS replied with more goals from Long, Trong and Tyler. Kye was a brick wall in goal in the 2nd half making sure that AMIS only got two.

The final score was 16 - 2 to BIS and this is how the goals were credited:

Campbell-5, Long-4, Raafay-2, Trong-, Tyler-1, Dylan-1.

Great game by both teams.
