At the corner of every street in the city, you can feel Tet is coming.
This year at TX we celebrated Tet with a Fun Tet Fair. The children had the chance to explore more about Vietnamese culture during lunar new year. There were lots of activities taking place in the foyer, such as: making Tet cards, decorating lucky envelopes, calligraphy, learning how to wrap the sticky rice and writing our wishes for the new year. From these crafts, the children had a chance to understand the meaning of traditional things that happen throughout Vietnam during Tet. Not only students but teachers were also very excited to participate in the Fair. The children especially enjoyed learning more about some traditional Vietnamese games.
We had a great day and would like to wish you all a healthy and happy new year.
