Year 4 Trip to Long Hai

18 March 2016

When 120 Year 4’s departed for Long Hai, they were both excited and nervous, as for most children, this was their first adventure away from home.

On arriving at their hotel, their first responsibilities included unpacking, organising their room keys and preparing for their first activity.

Smiles were everywhere and as you can see from the photos, they loved the different challenges, such as hunting for treasure and team-building games. Following their evening meal, they then all trooped down to the beach for songs around a bonfire!  Later, the question of who would be the greatest dancer at the Long Hai disco was answered, as many of our performers showed that they had plenty of rhythm and lots of soul…and weren’t scared to show it!

When they finally returned to school, they were full of stories and bursting with confidence as they would always have the memories made in Long Hai.
