Year 5 Trip to Hoi An

18 March 2016

Late Thursday evening, our Year 5s returned from their Hoi An residential. Excitement, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles were evident even through the children’s very tired eyes.

Throughout the week the children (and staff!) have taken part in a huge range of activities, which they have all responded to positively. They have tried new things, come out of their comfort zones and enjoyed the adventure along the way!

Highlights of the trip included making lanterns, testing out our bartering skills in a scavenger hunt across town and abseiling down a 25 metre drop at Marble Mountain.

Even delays on the return journey home did not affect the children’s positive attitudes. Instead they just gave them chance to reflect on their week and all that they have achieved. Well done Year 5- we are very proud of you!
