U19 Football V TIS 29/02/16

02 March 2016

Skill triumphs over strength on the football pitch...

On Monday 19th February BIS welcomed TIS's U19 Boys Football Team. They had a very athletic looking squad who caused a few problems for our team in the first couple of minutes, but once our BIS players learned how to take their challenges and still play football, the skill started to outshine the physicality.

First half goals from JK, Josh and Raul saw BIS into a comfortable lead, but TIS found some success with long balls that the BIS defence struggled to deal with, so the score was a close 4-2 at half time.

TIS continued their physical and long ball tactics in the second half to good effect, but BIS strived to play the more creative football and more goals from Josh and JK cancelled out TIS scores. Hieu Pham was also able to make his debut in goal in the final 10 minutes without conceding to secure a 6-4 win for BIS.
