The Second UK University Fair for International Schools

23 March 2016

Deciding to go to university is an incredibly important decision for our students to make.

Choosing the right place to spend the next three, four or even up to seven years of their lives is essential.

On Monday 21st March, we hosted 28 universities from the UK. The students were able to meet with ten of the Russell Group universities as well as a large number of universities with varying levels of selectivity as well as geographical location.

Our Year 12 students had an opportunity to meet the universities in a private session at 2pm. This was then followed by an open community event after school. It was exciting to see such a large number of years 9 to 11 students, as well as many parents.

It was a great opportunity for our students to meet universities face to face. Students were able to find out answers to their questions, finding out more about each university and the programmes of study they have on offer. All reasons to attend in person rather than just sticking to online research.
