U14 Boys Volleyball vs SSIS

10 May 2016

Thursday 28th April - Playing against SSIS, turned out to be a great match, the scores were always so close.

With all of our fixtures, there has been nervousness in the crowd. In the first set, the score was extremely close, finishing at 27-25 to BIS. The set was again very tense, it ended at 25-22 to SSIS. However, it was the last set that was the most extraordinary.

It was 1-1 to both teams and whoever won the final set would win the friendly match, with an even closer set,  a score of just 17-15, BIS won. This was the first match the Junior boys had won all year!

The squad has improved with skill, communication and teamwork, we all played exceptional volleyball with SSIS, and with the help of Mr. McLoughlin. A team mate to point out, would be Adwaith Nair, who consistently served well giving us many points on the way, who was also chosen by Mr.McLoughlin to be the MVP.

This friendly match was a great achievement for the Junior Boys Squad, and we hope to verse SSIS in the City Championship soon.
