This is it: the last post for this academic year! Thank you again for all the support. During this year our TX community continued to grow. You can all be proud of all the achievements.
As we didn’t want to forget anyone who is leaving, we have made a slide show with a few pictures from the last 2 academic years. So prepare to see familiar faces who left TX last year, and be prepare to say "good bye" to the ones who are leaving this year. To our leavers; all the best and keep in touch.
This summer, we are organizing a postcard round robin. Whether you are staying in Vietnam or travelling, please, register for this swap. It’s fun and it’s always nice to receive mail. See details below.
In this post you’ll read about the class rep experience. Thank you Akiko, Wendy, Adeline, Minori and Alex for giving us a look inside class rep duty. A few classes still need their class rep for next academic year, so please consider the position and sign up next August.
It’s now time to wish you a fantastic summer and to give you a "rendez vous" on the 24th of August for the;

Summer postcard round robin: (swap)
Do you like to receive mail? I mean mail not email? If you are a bit nostalgic of the time you received paper mail, this swap is for you! The more participants we have, the better it will be.
Me as a class rep "reflection on being a class rep"
"As 3T class rep, I was able to communicate with all class parents, it was very easy and smooth to organize each event with help of the teachers; MP2 production performance celebration, Xmas party, Tet holiday, children celebrate those events and had a great year.
I enjoyed being class rep to help the class and work with other parents to make children's school life fun and meaningful.
Hope next year, we will have another successful year at TX!"
"The experience that we have had as a class reps was that we're not afraid to voice our opinions or stand up for what we believe in. We have some really cool ideas for mixers and field trips that would be fun and affordable. One of our ideas was that we could start planning a field trip to the Viet Nam Waste Solutions. We love being representatives to all the parents for our 4X class because we enjoyed contributing and dedicating time for our kids. The responsibility was enormous but we believe we have succeeded beyond expectations as being class reps."
Wendy, Adeline and Alex 4X
"It was the first year to start class reps at TX. I'm so glad to be one of the class reps this year. I just think the class is as family. When I joined the class events, Science day, open class, International parade etc., I tried to take as many photos as I could and later I shared them via Whatsup. Because of my experience, when we have a new classmate, I'd like to help them to settle in easier. I'm so lucky because many parents of 4T gave me big support & got involved in school events.
Thank you very much!
Cheers, all of you in 4T!"
