On Friday 27th May, the family and friends of Milepost One stepped in to a beautiful country garden and were introduced to Lucinda, ‘The Selfish Ladybird’. An outstanding performance was seen by all when they discovered the spiders, bugs and insects all trying to give Lucinda advice along her journey. The spectators all got the happy end that they were after, with a wise oak tree helping Lucinda understand that sharing is the key to making friends.
Hopping grasshoppers, fluttering butterflies and marching beetles were among some of the fantastic dances, singing and lines that the children had dedicated their hard work and commitment to learning. The children looked amazing in their costumes and sang at the top of their voices for all to hear.
It was a moment of glory for all children and a great success. Well done Milepost One!
