Top in World Award
‘Top in the World’ refers to the learner who has gained the highest standard mark in the world for a single subject which is a phenomenal achievement. The BIS HCMC CIE ‘Outstanding Learner’ and best in world are:
Emily Kim
|
Maths
|
Rahul Sharma
|
Maths
|
Emily and Rahul are joint winners of the Maths ‘Top in World’ Award and, what makes this even more special, is that both students took the Maths IGCSE examination a year early whilst they were in Year 10.
As Principal of the British International School Ho Chi Minh City, I am extremely proud of the achievements of our CIE ‘Outstanding Learners.’ The great majority of them have been students at the school for many years and several started with us in the primary school. It just continues to show the aptitude of our students and the structure we have established at BIS HCMC to support them to ‘Be Ambitious’ and achieve great heights. To be the best achieving students in Vietnam and in the world shows the quality of our students who are taught by quality teachers in a quality school.
I would like to wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Anthony Rowlands, Principal
