This year our brave young performers enjoyed an extra special dress rehearsal in preparation for the big event. Our new friends from APP joined us at TX to watch the show. The children were very excited to have the opportunity to entertain their new friends before we join together at our new Early Years and Infant Campus in January.
Performing in front of a crowd can be quite daunting, but our spirited students have risen to the challenge, making the most of this exciting opportunity to be centre stage. It has been a delight for everyone involved to watch the children’s confidence grow throughout the process. With each rehearsal the dancing and actions were delivered with more gusto and the children’s singing and speaking grew louder and clearer. The crowd couldn’t help voicing their glee as the F1 sharks took to the stage and danced their hearts out. Our F2 children were equally superb, reminding us all to catch our coughs, do some exercise and eat a healthy lunch. The F3 ‘teachers’ did a splendid job introducing the different parts that make up our school day, in collaboration with a team of F3 ‘children’ who asked the all-important question “What’s next?” From swimming lessons, assembly, music, Talk for Writing, lunch, PE, tidy up time to home time, our brave foundation stage children provided a magical insight into their school day.
