TX Christmas Concert

On Wednesday, 13th December TX held its final ever concert, ‘TX’s Last Christmas’. Although it was, in some ways, a sad occasion it was truly a celebration of the musical talents of the entire TX community and was a wonderful way to end the term and left the audience feeling very Christmassy and proud of the TX performers.

Our TX performers excelled themselves in our TX Christmas concert, singing and playing with such energy and enthusiasm. The audience were treated to some memorable performances from all our TX musical groups and, although some tears were shed as it was the final ever concert at the TX campus, many happy memories were made as everyone left singing and tapping their feet, feeling immensely proud of all our TX performers.

After some festive mince pies and mulled wine to get everyone in the mood, our MP3 string group opened proceedings before our choirs entertained the audience with some beautiful Christmas songs. Ukulele club had everyone clapping and singing along and our MP1 choir took us on a journey around the world before spotting Mummy and Santa Claus up to no good! Our TX orchestra jazzed up some traditional carols before our amazing parent choir, led by Ms Duyen, sang a beautiful medley of well-known Christmas songs. TX teachers and TA's then took to the stage before a rousing finale of Merry Christmas Everybody involving all our TX community.

Well done to all the performers – it was a truly memorable evening with so many wonderful performances.

So this is it, merry Christmas,

at TX it’s been such fun,

look to the future now

it’s only just begun.

Although we will soon be leaving TX we will all be taking with us some very special memories and are looking forward to exciting new opportunities and the chance to make new friends and be part of even bigger musical concerts and productions.

There are lots of fantastic photos of the concert – thank you Mr Matthew. Please follow this link to see them.

I would like to say how very proud I am of each and every performer – thank you so much and well done for your amazing performances and for all the hard work you put in to prepare for them. You are all superstars!
