Running is a superb, and arguably the best way to keep fit. It gives you the determination to keep going, no matter how hard or painful it gets and gives you an amazing sense of achievement when you have completed your run.

For our U9 (Year 3 and 4) team the challenge was to cover 1.1km. For our U11 team (Year 6) it was 2.2km. This was further than the majority of students had ever ran before.

Our teams performed admirably in the heat and showed real grit and drive to all finish the race. It was a large race with 11 schools in attendance and a field of approximately 80 boys and 80 girls in each race there were some excellent results.

The students who took part were:

Y3: Michael Huynh, Tri Le, Max Lee, Minhyeok Lee, Soma Miyachu, Tupo Nkhoma, Cadhla Lindsay, Ingrid Mah, Jolie Nguyen,

Y4: Alex Sawyer, Nghi Van Nguyen, Quynh Anh Vu

Y6: Tri Lamb, Duy Anh Mai, Minh Cai, Bonny Nguyen, Johnny Nguyen, Nghia Pham, Naeyun Eo, Ashlee Lucas, Tutu Nguyen, Yui Okada, Mina Huynh, Yun Seo Choi, Pauline Pham.
