YR5 Takes on Shoestring Science 2017

14 March 2017

Over the last few days, the Year 5 classes from APP have been fortunate enough to be invited across to the Secondary School to take part in some peer teaching activities which were led by the Year 9 Science pupils.

  • Shoestring Science 17-1955
  • Shoestring Science 17-1959
  • Shoestring Science 17-1962
  • Shoestring Science 17-1952
  • Shoestring Science 17-1927

This was a wonderful experience for our children and provided them with an opportunity to witness the facilities which will become available to them over the next few years of their education here at BIS HCMC, and the style of teaching they will encounter.

It was also a fabulous chance for our older pupils to take responsibility for an area of Science from the Year 9 curriculum which they duly presented in a practical fashion to our children. Just another example of how the two campuses on opposite sides of Nguyen Van Huong are forging ever closer links and creating more opportunities for our Primary aged children to engage with their older peers; hopefully creating an environment in which their eventual transition to the Secondary School becomes even easier.

Thanks of course to our Year 9 friends from APS.
