Whatever The Weather - Spring Concert

08 March 2017

Last Thursday evening, nearly 400 students from APS, APP and TX performed together at our whole school spring concert in Ben Thanh theatre.

  • Spring Concert 2017-0093

The concert was entitled ‘Whatever the Weather’ and there was a wide variety of music linked to the theme. The students have worked extremely hard this term to prepare for the concert, and it showed. It was a tremendously memorable evening of music and entertainment.

From the TX choir and orchestras rendition of Bill Withers 'Ain’t No Sunshine' to APP's 'You'll Never Walk alone' and APS's orchestral version of 'Another Day of Sun' from the movie 'La la Land' - it was a wonderfully atmospheric evening. A special moment that will remembered by all.

“I thought it was the best thing I have ever done.” - Seung Min Choi, YR4

“It wasn’t good, it was great!” - Serena Lee, YR5

“This was the best concert of my life.” - Bon Ng, YR4

You might wonder how to follow a performance like that! Well how about joining forces with the International Choir and Orchestra of HCMC (ICOHCMC) for an exciting new venture

Singers from Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 have joined together from TX, APP and APS campuses this week for their first rehearsal ready for the upcoming Zimbe! concert. They are all looking forward to working together and to then joining with our FOBISIA friends from ABC and BVIS in the next few weeks.
