Parents’ Corner – 21/4/17

21 April 2017

It was a pretty quiet week for TX parents compared to the previous term however, this does not mean that the parents were not up to something.  They have been active celebrating birthdays together!

The March and April “Birthday Ladies”

With a “long overdue” celebration for March and a “just in time” celebration for April, on Wednesday morning a group of parents met at “Care and Hub Café” to celebrate the “birthday Ladies”. After a delicious breakfast with fruits, soups and fresh juices, it was time to bring out the cake. Once the candles were lit, the entire room heard the, “Happy Birthday” song in several languages: Vietnamese, Italian, Arabic, Korean, French and of course, English.

So, “Happy Birthday” again Ladies. It was a nice way to start the final term of the academic year.

If you are born in May or June, let us know! “Birthday Ladies” from these months will be celebrated during the “End of Year Potluck Lunch”.

Have a lovely weekend.

Anne on behalf of the Parent Group.
