U19B BOYS VOLLEYBALL vs AmIS (2/10/2018)

Final Score: BIS 2 - 1 AMIS

“The U19B Boys Volleyball team was ready to perform against AmIS. We started the first set strong getting an early lead with good volleyball coming from the boys. As the match progressed we managed to get to match point but we could not get a point to end. This resulted in the first set ending 27-25 to AmIS. The second set was much better as we started to understand their players and play style, BIS won the second set after some regaining confidence from the first few balls. Score of the second set was 25-16. The final set was the hardest for the boys as we fell behind on points letting AmIS reach 23-16. The boys played hard and well with great serving and all around good volleyball from the team. The final set ended 25-23 leaving BIS with a 2 - 1 victory over AmIS. The boys can see where they went wrong and will be aiming to fix them for the match next week against ISHCMC.” - Jack Lee

U19A GIRLS VOLLEYBALL vs AmIS (02/10/2018)

Final Score: BIS 2 – 0 AmIS

U19B GIRLS VOLLEYBALL vs AmIS (03/10/2018)

Final Score: BIS 3 – 0 AmIS

“This was a relatively comfortable victory for the girls. They have developed a much improved ability to retrieve the ball and set it up for a big hit. Some of the girls are developing into specialists, and their positional skills gave us the best control we have seen. One lighter moment was provided when one of the girls delivered a beautiful set using her football rather than volleyball skills, but overall the girls are really enjoying their volleyball and developing a good team spirit, too.” – Mr Andy Luke

U14A BOYS BASKETBALL vs ABCIS (03/10/2018)

Final Score: BIS 66 – 11 ABCIS

"The U14A boys were very excited on trying to win their 2nd match in a row after the game against AmIS. At first we were unsure on how well the ABCIS boys would do because of their strong team and performance last year. In this game we were introducing a new type of play; one of the motion plays. We started off strong using motion for the first half, we were able to keep ABCIS from scoring for 7 minutes of the first half by cutting, passing and constantly moving, giving others chance to score, communicating to recover and score and being unselfish with the ball. In the game we allowed very few shots and had very little to no mistakes. The end score was 66-11 and the man of the match went to Khoa Tran who ended up being the top scorer of the game with 18 points," - Hyun Soo Jung
