
The BIS Barracudas recently participated in the SISAC City Championships. SISAC Pool A was conducted on Tuesday 20th November and SISAC Pool B on Wednesday 21st November. Over the two Championships, 38 students consisting of both Junior and Secondary Campus students from the BIS Barracudas participated in the SISAC City Championships.
The students participated with passion and a positive competitive spirit. The 38 students have been training throughout term one in preparation for this meet. Each swimmer took part in 4 individual events. As a result, 77 individual personal best times were achieved! Congratulations to Nicolai Jorgensen, Vivian Tran, Andrew Vu, Adrien Blanc, Sebastian Masache and North Pongwatana who achieve personal best times in all four of their individual events.
Achieving personal best times is always a rewarding experience. Many of our students were also age group champions. Congratulations to the following students who were the age group championships:
- JunYeong Choi (10 -12 Boys, Pool B)
- Sebastian Masache (15 and over Boys, Pool B)
- Ryan Lower (10 – 12 Boys, Pool A)
- Alois Luong (15 and over Boys, Pool A)
The SISAC City Championships was a rewarding experience for students, parents and coaches. BIS Barracudas were the Runners Up in the Overall Winning School in Pool A. Congratulations and thank you to all students, parents and coaches for their hard work and dedication throughout the SISAC City Championships.
