Tet (Tết) is a huge celebration throughout Vietnam to see in the New Year. For Vietnamese, this is a time for family, friends and loved ones to come together, in the same spirit seen at Christmas in other parts of the world. This week, the Early Years and Infant Campus celebrated Tet (Lunar New Year) and had a wonderful time enjoying this cultural festival. It was such a fun interactive morning with lots of creative crafts and fun traditional games. The hall was filled with bright colours and the children looked fabulous in their beautiful Ao Dai's. Our Fundinotots to Year 1 classes were eager to join in all of the activities making sticky rice cakes, calligraphy, face painting, making Tet cards and writing our wishes for the new year. Through these activities, we hope to build up the knowledge and memory of cultures and local traditions for our young learners.
