After kicking off our celebrations on Tuesday morning at the Early Years and Infant Campus, on Wednesday morning, it was the turn of the Junior Campus. All teachers and children from Year 2 to Year 6 were so excited to be involved in Tet activities in their Tet fair celebration such as face painting, lucky hoop, can blaster, wheel of fortune, floral art, hair and nails bar as well as other more traditional Vietnamese games. They also tasted spring rolls, fish balls, sugar- coated fruits, kumquat juice and coconut juice.
The festival did not end there. On Thursday the children enjoyed Tet assemblies which were divided into two shows, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. The assemblies were about the story of Banh chung and Banh day, must-have traditional cakes in every Vietnamese family. The performers also invited children from EY&IC to watch on Friday morning at their campus to bring the joy of the special time together.
Thank you to all performers, the teaching assistant team and support staff who have been working really hard to create such a wonderful performance!
Thank you to all parents for coming along and celebrating with our children.
We wish you luck and happiness in 2018.
Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
