U19b Boys Football vs SSIS - Match Report 15/03/2018

22 March 2018

After their domination against ISHCMC, BIS were raring to go in their game against SSIS. Dylan bring us the match highlights...

Final score: SSIS 3-1 BISHCMC
Next match: Thursday 5th April vs CIS at home

Coming off of our complete domination against the ISCHMC side our team was on a high and ready to play. Showing a superior level of fitness our team eagerly started the game with a solid backline of Ben and Max complimenting Anthony up top. During the first half we ripped through the opposing side with killer passes and quick turns and runs, however we weren’t able to get a quick and easy goal we deserved.

During the second half we came back on ready to score, however due to an honest mistake we clumsily let in a goal from a back pass and our heads dropped. We consecutively then let in another and made changes to our side. With a fresh team we re-captured the essence of the first half with Quang scoring from a cross. However quickly the opposing side adjusted and made a fantastic run to make the match concrete at 3-1.

Even though we didn’t come out with the outcome that we deserved we played with passion and showed that we where truly the better side and that we need to work on specific aspects of the game. The match wasn’t a heartbreaking defeat. It was more a learning opportunity for the aspects that we should focus on and improve to give us a better opportunity of showing our dominance in the City Championships.
