The 2018 Spring Fair was one of many 'firsts'. It was the first Spring Fair organised by the amalgamated primary PTGs and it was also the first large event to be held at the brand new Early Years and Infant Campus.
After months of organisation, the day was a huge success! We had four hours of fun, wonderful food, entertainment, a raffle (with incredible prizes!) and activities including; tombola, sand art, football, dancing, giant twister, singing, bubble man and much more!
As you know, the main aim of the Spring Fair is to raise money for our community partners. We are still awaiting the final figures from our fundraising efforts but we can confirm that together we've raised a considerable amount of money for the following partners:
- Binh Tho school,
- Binh An school,
- Binh Trieu school,
- Anh Minh school for the Hearing Impaired,
- Thien Phuoc Foster Home for Disabled Children,
- the Endangered Asian Species Trust (EAST),
- Phan Huy Ich school (Poussières de Vie) and
- Animal Rescue and Care (ARC)
Final amounts will be confirmed soon but a huge thank you to everyone who supported this event by buying raffle tickets and to those who came along to join in our school community fun day.
Another big thank you goes to Niki Aurora-Gupta and her Spring Fair Committee - Akiko, Gloria, Eva, Grace, Duyen, Linh, Nha, Marcia, Sandy, Anouk, Alex, Wendy and Nicky for taking the time to organise this event over the last 2 months. Thanks also to Leanne and Nandini for helping run the raffle on the day, Kate our Treasurer, Jay our photographer, Minori for her wonderful artwork/creativeness and also to Duyen, Mr Jon and Ms Beth for putting together such fantastic parent and children’s choirs!
Thank you to all parents (including our Secondary PTG who came over to help) for selling raffle/entry tickets at drop off and pick up at EY&IC and Junior Campus - without you we would have no event! Thanks also to the parents who signed up to help on the day running stalls and to everyone that donated tombola prizes, books, cash donations and raffle prizes.

A final thanks goes to the school staff; the Heads of Campus, teachers, office staff, guards, maintenance, cleaners and sound technicians for all their help; we couldn’t have put this event together without you all!
Please do check your raffle tickets for winning numbers (boards showing winning numbers are up at EY&IC and Junior Campus and Ms Walsh has the list at the Secondary Reception). Any winning prizes can be collected at EY&IC via Ms Van and Ms Palm (thanks again to them for all their invaluable help) or Leanne who will be in room 203 at EY&IC from 2-2.25 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays where the prizes can be collected and signed for.
