German National Cuisine Comes to BIS HCMC

13 April 2018

Following the great outset with the Korean food; this April the German cuisine made it to the BIS HCMC canteen and the students savoured it.

The mutters not only engaged in training the canteen staff in cooking German grub but also wore their traditional costumes to create an ambience. Home made Spaetzle (traditional German dumplings) was the  X factor. Some of the other dishes that were available were German potato salad, beef goulash, Frankfurt wurst and more.

The strings of German flags suspended from the ceiling added to the mood. The bills on the walls with images of their usual food and a comic picture made it all lively. And not to forget, the music playlist was meticulously chosen which added to the flavour.

The PTG volunteers and the representatives from the German community worked hand in hand to make this experience valuable and enjoyable for the students.
