U14 Girls Volleyball vs ABC - Match Report 27/03/2018

03 April 2018

In their first match this season our U14 Girls Volleyball team faced ABC international school claiming their first victory. Kimberley Davies & Lauren Chau provide the highlights…

  • U14 BIS Girls Volleyball vs ABC
Final score: ABC 0-2 BIS HCMC
Next match: Tuesday 3rd April vs ISHCMC (Away)

On Tuesday 27th March we had our first match against ABC. We stuck to the basic ideas of volleyball which brought us to our first successful game.

Our first set ended with a fantastic score of 25-9. However, in the next set, due to lack of communication, we lost a lot of points. Ending the set with a score of 24-26. We think the problem was our communication in the 2nd game. We will therefore work more on our communication skills during practice. In the final match, we were able to finish the match which brought us the first win of the season with a score of 15-7. In the final match, our communication improved which allowed us to play to our best ability. We learned a lot from this game and we are getting ready for our next match with ISHCMC on 3rd April, one of the best volleyball teams in the city. We hope we improve and learn from our mistakes from this game.
