To promote the host country’s culture, last Friday at the Junior Campus, children and teachers came to school in their colourful Ao Dai. In the morning, everyone gathered around the small field to watch a spectacular Dragon Dance by a group of performers from Nhon Nghia Duong. To continue the celebration, two assemblies were organised - one in the morning for Year 3s and Year 4s and another in the afternoon for Year 5s and Year 6s. The assemblies started with a traditional dance performed by some talented dancers from Year 5 and Year 6. Following the dance, a fashion show presented different types of moon cakes people offer each other during the Festival. Finally, the two wonderful singers and Year 5 and Year 6 musical band closed the assemblies by playing the song Ruoc Den Thang Tam.
Thank you to all staff and children who got involved to make the celebration a successful one. Thank you to all parents for coming along and celebrating with us.
Happy Moon Festival!
Trung thu vui vẻ!
