The Drama Department is a vibrant and dynamic part of the BIS curriculum. It has an established and well-deserved reputation for excellence regionally. The exciting programmes and courses across the full age range make drama a popular and very successful subject. Outstanding performances of challenging theatre are the hallmark of this department team, “We are all about tackling the difficult to create inspiring opportunities for our students and, subsequently, our audiences…” says one of our specialist drama teachers. Enrichment through a range of clubs, visiting performers and participation in drama festivals regionally add to a breadth of opportunities that grow an even stronger passion for the performing arts in our students.

This opportunity to join BIS arises at an exciting time as we embrace the next phase of our collaboration with the Juilliard School, New York as we launch the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Drama curriculum here since August 2018.
