Loreto Vietnam build classrooms, libraries, safe toilets, computer rooms and multipurpose rooms in schools that would not otherwise be able to afford these facilities. In addition to scholarships and educational resources, they distribute school packs containing school uniforms, shoes, stationary sets and exercise books to children identified as critically in need. Earlier this year our BIS primary children were able to donate 7 boxes of books from the Community Book Swap which have been distributed by Loreta Vietnam as reading resources.
Sharing Love. Sharing Hope - you can make a difference this Christmas!
Loreto Vietnam will be distributing more than 6,000 Christmas gifts to students with special needs. Many of these children have Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, disability, vision or hearing impairment and we would like to invite you to consider donating a small gift box filled with educational or fun gifts. Just a few items, be they books or toys, hygiene products or stickers, will make a difference to a child this Christmas. Simply pack the items in an empty shoe box, wrap it and then deliver the box to the BIS Community Service Office on the ground floor of the Secondary campus before Friday 29th December 2019.
