Unfortunately, the numbers were low and a merging of teams was needed. Hue with Saigon and Dalat with Hanoi. After 4 innings it was Saigon and Hue who emerged victorious in the younger year groups.

On Tuesday 18th it was the turn of the Year 9 and 10s. Turnout was better, however, Dalat struggled with only 3 players and once again merged with other Houses. Some incredible fielding was on display as Saigon batted their way to victory, with Hue a close 2nd. Hanoi were 3rd and Dalat by default were 4th.

The best numbers of the week were for the mixed Year 12 and Staff Softball; with 4 full teams we were ready to do battle. Once again there were home runs, foul balls, strikes and amazing base fielding as Hue took the victory with 2 wins and 1 draw. Dalat redeemed themselves with an impressive 2nd place, Hanoi were 3rd and in a turnaround, Saigon were down in 4th.

What will that mean for the final Softball standings? Find out in the end of year assembly next Friday...
