‘Our Christmas Carol’ - The Primary Music Christmas Concert 2020

This year’s Primary Christmas Carol Concert, ‘Our Christmas Carol’, was a wonderful event featuring fabulous performances from our infant and junior instrumental ensembles and choirs.

The concert included a range of festive favourites and some lesser known Christmas repertoire that was beautifully performed to a hugely appreciative audience both live in the Secondary Campus Auditorium as well as through the live stream around the world!

The Junior Orchestra impressed with Jingle Bells Bossa Nova followed by March from the Nutcracker Suite.  Our ukulele clubs strummed along with gusto to great Christmas hits and ‘School of Rock’ got our feet tapping to Sugar by Maroon 5.  Every choir that performed sang their hearts out and the blend of voices and harmonies created many very special moments.

Notably, all 262 performers not only displayed their talents, but also their enjoyment of making music together to share with others.

The finale numbers of Rudolph and We Wish You a Merry Christmas with audience participation gave everyone a wonderful feeling of community and festivity.

This was such an enjoyable event for everyone and congratulations to the children for their hard work and perseverance in preparing for this concert.

Listen back to the performances of 'One Night One Moment' and 'Rudolph' to get yourselves feeling festive.
