Primary PTG Newsletter - Friday 21st August

The mission of the PTG is to positively impact the lives of all our children and families. Our goal is to encourage the growth of the community spirit within our school by building close working relationships between parents, staff and children associated with the school.

Any parent who has a child at BIS automatically becomes part of the PTG, and the PTG Coordinators (pictured) welcome and appreciate your support, and any time you can spare to volunteer!

Our PTG Volunteer Coordinators (from L-R): Gayatri, Lily, Pamela, Jana, Ai, Vivian and Thomas (not in the photo)

The PTG provides social events, fun activities, and is actively involved in fundraising for our Community Service Partners, throughout the year.  Due to the current circumstances with Covid-19 the Newcomers Bus Tour and PTG Social night are postponed, but we are looking forward to lots more events scheduled later in the term including Family Fun Event, Teachers Day, Parent Pot Luck, Disco and the Christmas Bazaar.

All these events organised by the PTG are run by volunteers and they could not happen without you!  Whether you can spare an hour to sell tickets, man a stall during the event, or you would like to join one of our specific event committees, there is something suited to everyone!

The PTG also coordinates Class Parent Representatives and Country Representatives, across the Primary campuses.  These are roles adopted by parent volunteers that help the PTG Coordinators communicate, support, and connect more personally, with a wider network of parents.  More information on these roles and how to sign up will be shared next week.

For more information about the PTG, to connect with us personally, or if you would like to support as a volunteer, please email us directly on (This has been recently updated and is different to the email address in the PTG brochure)
