“Little Shop of Horrors” – a Peek behind the Scene!

The Secondary production of “Little Shop of Horrors” is nearly ready – the opening is next Saturday 23rd November! The actors auditioned the first week of school and immediately settled into the intense rehearsal routine. It has been a fantastic and fun journey for all involved. This musical takes many unexpected twists and turns, and everyone is having a great time with the 60s music and costumes. With many of the cast on their 5th production at BSB, they are showing such incredible talent and independence in making the show their own!

The story could not come to life on stage without all the stunning audio and visual elements. The Art Department has a Set Painting ASA with all the students that showed interest in helping the show with their artistic abilities! They have divided into teams to make the major pieces and have been working very hard every week to get everything ready.

The Secondary Orchestra students are also working tirelessly on the music and will be joining the music teachers to perform in the live band. It is extremely difficult to accompany a show as they need to learn how to accommodate what is happening on stage while reading the music and playing together.

The production team also includes dedicated staff and parents that are helping with things such as costumes, choreography, tech, and building the set! We would like to thank everyone who is working towards making this show a success!

Please enjoy the pictures of all the pieces coming together and click here for information on how to see the show!
