Principal's Update 3rd March, 2023

Dear Parents,

We are having a fantastic term now that parents have returned the campus to support and to attend information sessions and workshops; we are very much enjoying having you in school and starting to rebuild our community.

Calendar for 2023 – 2024 Academic Year

Please click here to find our calendar for next academic year so that you can plan ahead for your summer vacations and beyond.  Students in Year 7, Year 10 & Year 12 and new students of any age will be having a welcome day on August 31^st. All students are required to be in school on September 1^st for the start of the new academic year.  We will send out materials on August 21^st that can be accessed to prepare for the new academic year and before the break we will send reading lists so that we can encourage continued reading during the summer.

Illness

We are experiencing higher than normal levels of illness in students of all age groups this week. We have sent home many children during the school day who have symptoms and/or a fever. Please help us by checking the health status of your children before they come. We recommend that you check your child’s temperature and if you are in any doubt, please keep your child at home.

Parent Survey

We are constantly looking for ways to improve our school and your feedback is vital to this process. Our annual parent satisfaction survey helps us better understand how we are performing in key areas, including what we are doing well and any opportunities for improvement, and we use these results to inform our strategy. Therefore, the more parents we hear from, the more confident we can be that our action plans respond to your views and allows us to continue providing the best possible educational experience for your child. Only 27% of parents have currently responded.
