The visit to Microsoft Headquarters Tech Hub by 40 of our Year 6 students was a resounding success on 1st June! Our students had a tour of the facility and learnt about artificial intelligence (AI) from Beth, an expert in the field, what that looks like now and in the future.
They were highly engaged throughout the visit and demonstrated a deep understanding of AI concepts by asking intelligent and thought-provoking questions.
The visit was a valuable learning experience for the students, providing them with a unique opportunity to gain insight into the potential applications and implications of AI. Being able to visit a world-renowned tech hub and learn from experts in the field is a special privilege for these students, inspiring them to explore further in this area.
Good news! Moving forward, Microsoft has agreed to make this an annual event in June for our Year 6 students.
