BSKL recently played host to an exhilarating AIMs Series Swimming Leg 2 meet, featuring primary school swimmers from Year 3 to 6, who dove headfirst into the pool for an intense head-to-head competition against Garden International School. With more than 140 talented young swimmers participating, the event showcased the incredible potential of future aquatic stars. 

Last weekend, Surin (Year 8) performed in a charity musical entitled “Get On Your Feet” organised by Malaysia's well known choreographer, Farah Sulaiman to raise funds for Cancer Research Malaysia. The show was staged four times in mid September and was held in Panggung Experimen, Universiti Malaya to sell out audiences.

What better way to round off E-Safety week at BSKL than by hearing from an expert in cybersecurity!

Last week, BSKL Sixth Form students were fortunate to be visited by university representatives from the admissions teams at Northeastern, Chapman, Boston, and Wesleyan University’s.

Based on their performance at the district track and field championships, 4 BSKL athletes were selected to represent the Petaling Utama district at the Selangor State Athletics Championship (MSSS) that was held between 11 and 14 September 2023.

BSKL will be having an in person open day on 19th September 2023 for prospective parents and students to learn more about the school.

We are thrilled to announce and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our BSKL representatives at the recent National Junior New Talent Swim Carnival held in Ipoh from 8th to 10th September.

This week saw the start of our new Connections programme, with a renewed focus on the Global Goals.

The Class of 2023 will head to the world’s leading universities this month after another impressive set of A-level results in the face of a global realignment of grade boundaries.

From 31st of July to 4th of August 2023, 9 BSKL pupils competed in MSSD Olahraga Petaling Utama (Petaling Utama District Athletics Championship) - a competition to find the best of the best athletes in the district.

Another set of excellent IGCSE results demonstrate the strength of our students and the strong position of BSKL in the world.

In an impressive display of dedication and skill, Kaylee, a remarkable athlete from Year 11, represented Selangor State in the recently concluded MSSM 2023 swim meet.

As our school continues to grow and flourish, we seek new ways to develop and enhance the experiences of our students.

Joshua, a talented young swimmer from Year 8, has made waves by representing Malaysia at the prestigious 45th South East Asia (SEA) Age Group Swimming Championships 2023.

Representatives from The University of Cambridge paid a visit to BSKL Sixth Form on Tuesday this week.

Before the term break on 23rd May, Serena Year 11, flew to Bangkok to present her research done initially for the school science fair- but was then accepted to be presented at an International Dentistry Conference, ‘FDCU INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM 2023, New Horizon In Technology and Biological Science In Dentistry.’

The BSKL campus remains busy this summer as a number of improvement projects are underway across all three of our campuses.
