Parent Satisfaction Survey 2024-25 Results

Parent Satisfaction Survey 2024-25 Results - Parent Satisfaction Survey 2024 25 Results

Each year we carry out an annual Parent Satisfaction Survey to help us improve our understanding of how parents think we are performing in key areas across the school. We do this to ascertain what areas you think we are doing well in and what areas we can further improve.

Parent Satisfaction Survey 2024-25 Results - Parent Satisfaction Survey 2024 25 Results

This year’s survey, concluded at the end of Term 1, was completed with 354 responses from BVIS families, giving an overall response rate of 46% (6% higher than the NAE Global average). This was slightly more than last year when we received a 43% response rate.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who shared their valuable feedback. These results combined with the continuous guidance and review with Nord Anglia Education’s Central team, enables us to refine and develop ongoing strategic development across our whole school and its wider community.

  • 90% of families strongly agree or agree that their child feels safe at school
  • 90% of families strongly agree or agree that their child is happy at school
  • 88% of families strongly agree or agree that their child receives quality support at school
  • 87% of families strongly agree or agree that our teaching staff are of high quality
  • 86% of families strongly agree or agree that their child’s teacher has good relationship with their child
  • 86% of families stated that the school was meeting the need of their family

The social and personal development of all students is of upmost priority at BVIS. When asked which social and personal attributes that the school best develops in our students, parents identified the top 7 as:

  • Confidence
  • Independence
  • Collaboration
  • Global Awareness
  • Critical Thinking
  • Creativity
  • Wellbeing

When compared with global and regional NAE data, the survey shows that BVIS has achieved the most positive results among all 20+ schools in the Southeast Asia and Middle East region. This is something the entire school community can take great pride in.

Therefore, from the overall data and individual comments from this year’s survey, we plan to furtherdevelop and prioritise the following areas:

  • more opportunities to improve parental awareness of and participation in our Nord Anglia Education programmes such as: Global Campus, Global Expeditions, Juilliard Performing Arts and UNICEF
  • our Secondary classroom design
  • our Secondary canteen area
  • whole school social spaces
  • the quality and size of our performance spaces for both Primary and Secondary students
  • our whole school communication regarding transition between year groups and key stages

Once again, I would like to thank you for your continued support of our school. Your feedback is crucial, always well respected and taken into consideration when formulating our school’s short, medium and long term strategic planning!
