DCIS staff put on a show for Primary Assemblies with impromptu flash mob
Back in March, our nimble DCIS staff put on a show for the Primary Assemblies with an impromptu flash mob, much to the delight of the astonished crowd. Ms Lebihan was barely done with her ‘Good morning boys and girls’ when Cooper Hall was bouncing to an upbeat hip hop tune, prompting staff members to pop out of their seats and wind their way towards the stage.

The students were treated to a phenomenal show (choreographed by Jose Cerda from the Hip Hop Dance ECA), and the staff even came down into the audience for the grand, hand clapping finale. A good time was had by all as the children got to see their teachers show off their dance moves – not something they witness every day.
Our Year 7 students went on two amazing trips to Sibu Island, Malaysia, for their year group residential. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and immersed in a vibrant new culture, students had the chance to connect with their friends and make memories that will last forever.
