For the first DCIS Fins swim meet, six swimmers competed at the Singapore Chinese Club over the weekend in a Long Course (50m pool) against local clubs. For the majority of the swimmers this was a totally new experience and they all performed brilliantly.

Kate (Year 5) finished 8th overall in the 50m Butterfly and Gus (Year 6) 13th in the same event.

Josh (Year 7) had a Personal Best in his 50m Freestyle.

Ellie (Year 4) had two excellent times in the Backstroke and Freestyle respectively.

Natasha (Year 3) swam Breastroke and Freestyle whilst Tara (Year 3) did the most lengths of the 50m pool as she competed in 3 separate events.

Great day.

Now we get ready to go across the road to swim at UWC Dover on the 24th Sept. This event is Short Course. Phew!
