Following U12s Boys Rugby Bowl competition, first of a series of friendly matches
After the team’s success in the U12s Bowl competition last week, this week saw the first of a number of friendlies that will be taking place.
Our first opponents were a team from the Overseas Family School, which was made up of Y7 and Y8s. What they lacked in experience, the OFS boys made up for in size and strength, meaning it was a hard fought game. The score started off very much in OFS’ favour, with some of their bigger runners rumbling through our defence. However, after a nervous start the boys rallied and showed their experience running in a number of unanswered tries. Unfortunately the only thing that could beat us was the time and the match ended in a draw. We look forward to our next game which sees us travel for a return fixture to OFS next Tuesday.
