The Juilliard School, a world leader in performing arts education, and Nord Anglia Education are pleased to announce that applications are open for Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard – our summer programme from 8 – 21 July 2017 for students aged 10 – 18 years old. In addition there is a significant 15% discount from the standard price for all DCIS students.
Hosted at the picturesque Collège du Léman campus in Geneva, Switzerland, Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard is the perfect opportunity for young musicians, actors and dancers to explore their talents at all levels while creating challenging, meaningful experiences for all.
The programme is a unique, immersive experience where your child will engage deeply in the performing arts and be able to make powerful connections with like-minded students from across the world. Challenging students artistically, technically and creatively, the daily schedule includes one-to-one lessons, rehearsals, coaching and masterclasses led by Juilliard artist faculty culminating in a memorable performance at the end of two weeks. Students will also have the opportunity to creatively collaborate across disciplines at one of the most prestigious boarding schools in Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Designed for those with wide ranging interests, students in the Discovery Programme will choose both a major and minor course of study from among the three disciplines – music, dance, and drama. The Young Artist Programme caters to more advanced performing artists who want to focus deeply in their chosen discipline.
In addition to the performing arts programme, students will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun activities and excursions in the local area, including an array of outdoor activities exposing them to the natural landscape of Switzerland and Swiss culture.
