The weather was kind to Dover Court International School on Saturday when thunderstorms avoided our playing fields and the DCA Welcome Back Picnic could go ahead as planned. The first event of the year provided the opportunity to welcome new families to our community and for old friends to catch up. The children had fun on the Ringo Slide whilst parents found spots to set themselves up and enjoy their picnics. For those that hadn't brought their own food, the Travelling C.O.W. did brisk business selling a range of yummy treats and cold beers. And as always the DCA volunteers were on hand selling ice cream and soft drinks.
Big thanks to everyone who came and all who helped out and ensured it was a great success. Keep an eye out for details of our next event, Halloween Trunk or Treat on Friday 2nd November.
