The boys played football today and sailed through the group stages with three wins from three games.  In the semi final they played the host school who had the "luck of the gods" on their side with a very controversial decision going SFBS way.  Most observers felt that a shot which hit the bar bounced out of the goal and had not crossed the line, however the referee felt differently and awarded the goal.  Despite a lot of BSB pressure the boys couldn't find an equaliser and had to settled for a play off game for 3rd / 4th place against TES. This time the boys made no mistakes and dominated the game from start to finish to win 1-0 which secured 3rd position.

The girls played basketball and had a very difficult start against a strong team from Kellet who managed to win comfortably.  In the next game against Dulwich the girls lost a close game by 2 baskets, however they finished the group stages with a win against Discovery Bay.  This meant they played Harrow in the next round and again the girls played very well to win by 3 baskets to set up another fixture with Discovery Bay.  This time Discovery Bay came out on top with a two point win as the girls team ran out of energy after a long time on the courts.  The girls finished 6th overall.

Everyone is now getting ready for the Gala Dinner with some of the boys even getting their nails done!
