1. Please tell us your plans after graduating from BSB e.g. Have you decided which university you will be attending? What is your major?
I have received university offers from universities in the UK such as University of Sheffield, University of Sussex and so on, as well as offers from universities in the Netherlands such as Leiden University, University of Amsterdam and an offer from IDC Herzliya, a university in Israel. I haven’t yet decided which university to attend, but as of now I’m leaning towards Leiden University in the Hague. The major I have chosen is Politics and International Relations.
2. Which one is your favourite school trip/residential. What do you like about the trip?
My favorite residential, and overall my favorite trip I’ve ever been on was to Tanzania. I was able to not only understand Tanzania’s culture but it gave me the opportunity to grow spiritually and appreciate what we have in life.
3.Please describe 2 of your best memories of your time at BSB.
One of my best memories at BSB was organizing Prom with a group of my friends. In the short amount of time that we had, we were able to organize a beautiful prom. Despite all the small inconveniences we encountered, we had lots of fun and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Another memory I will keep forever is the opportunity that BSB gave me to meet friends from all over the world. I learned about so many different cultures and traditions and made friendships that will last a lifetime.
4. What was your favourite IB subject and why?
My favorite IB subject is French. I have always enjoyed learning different languages and French has always been a language I was very interested in and BSB gave me the opportunity to learn it.
5. How has studying at BSB helped you achieve academic success/ university acceptance/ personal development?
BSB's whole student body strives for success with the help of our faculty as a backbone to a huge support system. This made reaching for and achieving my goals a whole lot easier and manageable. Henceforth, the wide range of extracurriculars and IB CAS activities integrated into our every day school lives have not only helped me form bonds between my peers and teachers that will last a lifetime, yet also enriched my learning experience and furthered my personal development.
6 . What do you think is special about BSB?
BSB will always be my second home. Having attended since 2016, I had been awestruck by the cultural diversity. I was gifted with the privilege to form relationships with teachers and students stemming from all over the world, a blessing that will certainly unravel into an advantage in the future both professionally and personally. I can truly say I have made friends for life here.
7. What advice do you have for other students at school?
To all future graduates: Don’t take your time for granted! One of the most fundamental IB Learner Profile Skills is to learn how to manage your time wisely. Everything is doable if you stay organized, and most important of all STICK to your schedule with diligence and motivation.
